A gala evening at the Orangery, a global brand and a host who guided the English-language programme with ease.

Roborock at IFA 2026

IFA Berlin is Europe’s most important stage for consumer electronics and home appliances. Right at its centre: Roborock, according to IDC the world’s best-selling robot vacuum brand in the first half of 2026. Under the motto “Rocking Life with You”, the company presented its expanded portfolio from 4 to 8 September in Hall 9 (stand 111) – from the new flagship Saros 20 Flow Complete and the Saros Rover, the first robot vacuum with a wheel-leg architecture, which made its European debut at IFA, to the RockAqua P1, the brand’s first robotic pool cleaner, and the RockNeo Q2 LiDAR robotic lawn mower.

On the opening day of the fair, 4 September 2026, Roborock invited guests to its Gala Night at the Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace. eventas placed Kyra Baltrusch as host for the evening.

The brief: a host for an international audience

The request came from an international event agency organising the evening on behalf of Roborock. They were looking for a professional host to guide the stage programme from 7 pm: the welcome, speeches by the company’s leadership, introducing the show acts and the transitions between programme items. English was required as the hosting language, ideally with experience in technology and corporate settings.

We proposed several suitable hosts from our network. The client chose Kyra Baltrusch.

Why Kyra Baltrusch

Kyra Baltrusch is a TV host and live reporter based in Berlin. On SAT.1 Frühstücksfernsehen she appears as sidekick host of the Saturday edition, and she reports for “Abenteuer Leben” on Kabel Eins. On stage, her engagements include hosting the Best Brands Award 2025.

For the Roborock Gala Night, her English was key: Kyra is fluent in English and lived in Australia for an extended period. She brought exactly the combination the event called for – live TV experience, stage presence and confident hosting in the language of the international guests.

Hosting and event staff from a single source

In addition to the host, eventas also provided event staff for the Gala Night: our team handled the guest welcome and guidance, supported check-in, looked after the cloakroom and was on hand for guests throughout the evening – bilingual in German and English.
