Frankfurt Book Fair 2026

The Frankfurt Book Fair is one of the most important meeting points for the international publishing and media industry. In 2026 it took place from 7 to 11 October 2026 on the Frankfurt fairgrounds. The Guest of Honour was Czechia with the motto “A Country on the Coast”; according to the organiser, around 75 Czech authors travelled to Frankfurt.

The hall concept was new: exhibitors focused on the trade audience were on the upper hall levels, exhibitors focused on the public on the lower ones. For the 2025 fair, the Frankfurt Book Fair website lists 4,350 exhibitors, 238,000 visitors, 3,500 events and 7,800 media representatives.

Wolters Kluwer at the book fair

Wolters Kluwer is a global provider of information solutions, software and services for professionals. According to the company, it is active in more than 180 countries and reported revenues of 6.1 billion euros in 2025. Its business areas include Health, Tax & Accounting, Financial & Corporate Compliance, Legal & Regulatory and Corporate Performance & ESG.

At the book fair, the company showed titles of its Lippincott brand for nursing practice, among others, at its stand. The brochure “Rights, Licensing, Permissions Media Pack 2026” lay on the counter, and the stand carried the line “Global reach.” Between meeting tables and lounge chairs, professional conversations took place throughout the fair.

Reception at the stand
