DKM 2026 in Dortmund

DKM is a trade fair for the finance and insurance industry. In 2026 it took place on 27 and 28 October at Messe Dortmund (Westfalenhallen). The organiser is bbg Betriebsberatungs GmbH. For many insurers and financial service providers, the fair is a fixed date for meeting sales partners and advisors in person.

WWK at DKM: Prize Draw at the Promotion Stand

WWK Lebensversicherung a.G. was present at DKM with a promotion stand in the entrance area. The focus was a prize draw under the motto “How much does this gold bar weigh?”. Gold bar props, a sign explaining how to take part and flyers for the prize draw shaped the look of the stand.

Visitors were meant to start a conversation through play. That is exactly why a stand like this needs staff who approach people openly, explain the rules and handle participation smoothly.

Promoters and Service Staff on Site

eventas provided promoters and service staff for WWK. According to our staffing plan, the team consisted of six people on 27 October and four on 28 October. Responsibilities were clearly divided:

Promotion stand in the entrance area: welcome visitors, guide them through the prize draw and register them for the draw. Promotion area: look after guests in the upper and lower promotion areas. Evening service on 27 October: serve and look after guests in the promotion area in a friendly way.

The assignment ran from 08:00 to 22:30 on 27 October and from 08:00 to 15:00 on 28 October. For the evening shift we used staff with service or hospitality experience; at the promotion stand, promotion experience was enough. The cover image shows two of our promoters in golden sequin dresses at the WWK stand, matching the gold theme of the prize draw.
