electronica is the world’s leading trade fair for electronic components, systems, applications and solutions.
The organiser is Messe München GmbH. The fair takes place every two years in Munich; the next dates are 10 to 13 November 2026. Topics include semiconductors, passive components, embedded systems, sensors, power supplies, measurement technology and automotive. The 2026 motto is “Empowering the All Electric Society”.
According to the fair, the 2024 edition counted 3,486 exhibitors from 58 countries and regions and 80,203 visitors from 113 countries and regions; 76 percent of exhibitors and 54 percent of visitors came from abroad. The fair occupied 18 halls.

Setups like this do not happen spontaneously. A large deployment of this size is backed by weeks of preparation: castings, contract handling, shift planning, outfitting, backup quotas for sickness and a central dispatcher reachable seven days a week.
