EMO Hannover 2025

EMO Hannover 2025
EMO Hannover is organised by the VDW trade association and took place from 22 to 26 September 2025 at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds, under the motto “Innovate Manufacturing”. According to the VDW, almost 80,000 visitors from around the world, including guests from around 140 countries, came to see more than 1,600 exhibiting companies.
Right in the middle of it: DMG MORI. According to its own information, the machine tool manufacturer presented itself in Hall 2 with the “DMG MORI World” and showed more than 40 machines, 33 automation solutions and eight world premieres. The themed areas ranged from Aviation & Space, Mobility, Die & Mold and Medical to Data & Semiconductor. For this trade fair appearance, DMG MORI booked hosts and hostesses through eventas: for welcoming guests at Stuttgart Airport as well as for lead generation, reception and greeting at the stand.
Reception and lead generation for DMG MORI at EMO Hannover 2025
The assignment had two locations: at Stuttgart Airport, eventas hosts and hostesses welcomed the guests of DMG MORI, and at the fair they handled reception and greeting at the stand as well as lead generation.
A stand organised into themed worlds needs people who guide visitors: who greets the guests, who leads them to the right technical conversation, who keeps track when the aisles fill up? Hosts and hostesses take on exactly this first level at the stand. In lead generation they approach visitors actively, clarify interest and responsibility, record the contact details and hand qualified conversations over to the technical advisers, who stay free for the specialist discussions.
The eventas team appeared as one unit: dark blazers, white shirts, name badges. At a trade fair with an international audience, a confident, friendly tone counts just as much as reliability over five fair days. That is exactly what we focus on in selection and briefing.
Almost 80,000 visitors in five days: at a fair of this size, the first impression at the stand decides.

One contact for your trade fair appearance
Whether guest reception, stand support or lead generation: at eventas you have one contact who coordinates selection, briefing and deployment. A year later we were also on site for DMG MORI at AMB in Stuttgart, more in our article on lead generators for DMG MORI at AMB 2026. How we steer large trade fair teams is also shown in our article on 100 brand ambassadors for Midea at IFA 2025.
Frequently asked questions
What do hosts and hostesses do at a trade fair like EMO?
They welcome and greet guests, approach visitors for lead generation, direct them to the right technical advisers and so relieve the stand team. Welcoming guests at the airport can be part of it too. We agree scope and tasks with the client in the briefing.
Can eventas also provide larger teams for multi-day trade fairs?
Yes. We coordinate selection, briefing and deployment of larger teams across several fair days, with one central contact.
How early should I book staff for a trade fair in Hannover?
Around major fairs, sought-after profiles are booked quickly. We recommend enquiring several weeks in advance. Get in touch.
