MEDICA is the international medical trade fair covering medical technology, laboratory technology, diagnostics, electromedicine, health IT and physiotherapy.
The organiser is Messe Düsseldorf GmbH; COMPAMED takes place in parallel. MEDICA is held annually and the next dates are 16 to 19 November 2026. According to the portal messen.de the fair is open Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 18:00 and Thursday from 10:00 to 16:00 (single source). Topics in 2026 include smart hospital, AI in diagnostics, point-of-care and telemedicine.
The MEDICA website names about 78,000 visitors from 160 countries and 4,821 exhibitors from 70 countries, without a year; this presumably refers to the 2025 edition. Other sources name different values, so we treat these figures as an order of magnitude.
