When the commercial vehicle, transport and logistics industries meet in Hanover, a confident appearance at your stand counts. We staff your trade fair presence with hosts, promoters and service staff who welcome visitors and present vehicles and solutions.
IAA Transportation is the international leading trade fair for commercial vehicles, transport and logistics in Hanover.
The fair takes place every two years. According to iaa-transportation.com the next dates are 19 to 24 September 2028 in Hanover; press day is 18 September 2028. Trade media name the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) as organiser. Topics in 2026 included alternative drives, autonomous driving, software-defined vehicles and AI.
According to trade press reports the 2026 edition (15 to 20 September) counted 1,589 exhibitors from 46 countries and over 140,000 visitors, of which more than 113,000 were trade visitors on weekdays. There were 8,500 test drives and more than 150 world premieres and novelties. Only one outlet in our sources names the visitor figure; we could not retrieve an organiser’s final report.
For exhibitors this means large exhibition areas, long days and guests from around the world. Anyone appearing here needs staff who welcome guests at the stand and in vehicle presentations, coordinate appointments and stay reliable when it gets busy.
To make your stand look professional from set-up to the end, most exhibitors combine several staff roles. We staff them all from one source – with clear responsibilities, coordinated shift planning and one contact. Find out more about our trade fair hostesses and moderators for fairs and congresses. What a deployment costs is explained in our guide to the cost of a trade fair hostess.
The first face visitors see at your stand. Our hosts welcome guests warmly, qualify enquiries, take care of accreditation and cloakroom and keep the stand organised even at peak times.
Catering, bar and lounge operation at a level that suits the brand. We provide bar crews for stand parties, barista teams for the espresso bar and banquet staff for receptions – also in parallel across several halls.
Present products, approach visitors, capture contacts. Our promoters approach visitors actively, demonstrate products and offers and capture relevant contacts digitally on the spot. Before every deployment there is a briefing on your programme and your arguments.
Setups like this do not happen spontaneously. A large deployment of this size is backed by weeks of preparation: castings, contract handling, shift planning, outfitting, backup quotas for sickness and a central dispatcher reachable seven days a week.
We bring this experience to IAA Transportation as well. You get a fixed contact who is reachable before and during the fair – from the briefing to the shift handover.
For IAA Transportation the team of our event staff agency Hanover is available. If needed, we add staff from our other locations. You will find all fairs in the region in the trade fair calendar; comparable deployments are shown on our pages for IAA Mobility and Hannover Messe.
According to iaa-transportation.com the next IAA Transportation takes place from 19 to 24 September 2028 in Hanover, with press day on 18 September 2028. The fair runs every two years.
Our hostesses and hosts welcome guests at the stand, take enquiries and guide visitors to your stand team. On request they handle accreditation, cloakroom, contact capture or the supervision of meeting areas. Scope and tasks are agreed with you in advance in a briefing.
In-demand profiles are taken quickly for large fairs. We therefore recommend sending your enquiry several weeks before the fair starts. Short-notice requests are still possible depending on availability. Send us the key data on stand, days and staff requirements and you will receive an offer within 24 hours.
English is standard for all eventas trade fair hostesses. Depending on availability, hostesses with Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, Arabic and other languages are also available. Tell us in the briefing which languages your visitors speak.
