Ilka Groenewold is a TV, business and event moderator based in Hamburg and Berlin, available for galas, congresses, trade fairs, panel discussions and award ceremonies – in German and English, on site, digital or hybrid. Since 2001 she has hosted over 5,000 events, developing a fine sense for how to captivate an audience and convey complex topics in an entertaining way.

Athletic, with wit, charm and substance, she guides audiences confidently through the evening – from specialist congress to the big stage. Starting out at VIVA, she works today as a reporter for WELT TV; she also shares her stage expertise as a rhetoric and body-language coach.

In 2020 Ilka Groenewold was honoured by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy as a “role-model entrepreneur”; in 2022 the “Digital Places” award followed for her own streaming, green-box and sound studio. She has captured her knowledge of presence and personal development in four books, and since 2023 she has been climbing the German airplay charts with her own music. She is a senator in the Senate of the Economy.
