When the international publishing and media industry comes to Frankfurt, a confident first impression at your stand counts. We staff your stand with experienced hosts, promoters and service staff – reliably through all five show days.
The Frankfurt Book Fair is one of the most important meeting points of the international publishing and media industry.
The organiser is Frankfurter Buchmesse GmbH, a subsidiary of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association. According to its own information it has organised the fair since 1949. Every October publishers, agencies, media companies and book lovers gather in Frankfurt am Main to trade rights, present new releases and nurture contacts.
The 2025 edition shows how dense the event is: the organiser names 238,000 visitors on site, 4,350 exhibitors and 7,800 media representatives, plus 3,500 events for trade and public audiences. Exhibitors and trade visitors came from more than 80 countries. In 2026 the Czech Republic was guest of honour; the fair took place from 7 to 11 October 2026 and the next dates are 6 to 10 October 2027.
For exhibitors this means many conversations, many languages, long days. Anyone who wants to appear professionally needs staff who welcome guests warmly, manage visitor flows and stay reliable after eight hours on their feet.
To make your stand look professional from set-up to the end, most exhibitors combine several staff roles. We staff them all from one source – with clear responsibilities, coordinated shift planning and one contact. Find out more about our trade fair hostesses and moderators for fairs and congresses. What a deployment costs is explained in our guide to the cost of a trade fair hostess.
The first face visitors see at your stand. Our hosts welcome guests warmly, qualify enquiries, take care of accreditation and cloakroom and keep the stand organised even at peak times.
Catering, bar and lounge operation at a level that suits the brand. We provide bar crews for stand parties, barista teams for the espresso bar and banquet staff for receptions – also in parallel across several halls.
Present products, approach visitors, capture contacts. Our promoters approach visitors actively, demonstrate products and offers and capture relevant contacts digitally on the spot. Before every deployment there is a briefing on your programme and your arguments.
Setups like this do not happen spontaneously. A large deployment of this size is backed by weeks of preparation: castings, contract handling, shift planning, outfitting, backup quotas for sickness and a central dispatcher reachable seven days a week.
We bring this experience to Frankfurter Buchmesse as well. You get a fixed contact who is reachable before and during the fair – from the briefing to the shift handover.
For Frankfurter Buchmesse the team of our event staff agency Frankfurt is available. If needed, we add staff from our other locations. You will find all fairs in the region in the trade fair calendar; comparable deployments are shown on our pages for IFA Berlin and gamescom.

At the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026 eventas took over reception at the Wolters Kluwer stand. Our hostess Sophia welcomed guests at the desk and passed them on to the stand team. In the article you can read what the deployment looked like and what a confident reception achieves at a trade fair.
