The next edition takes place from 22 to 25 June 2027 in Munich, alongside LASER World of PHOTONICS and World of Quantum. The exhibition areas range from Assembly & Handling and Industrial Robotics through Service Robotics and Machine Vision to Software and Cloud Computing, with the organiser placing a particular focus on Physical AI. According to automatica-munich.com, automatica takes place from 22 to 25 June 2027 in Munich. It is open to visitors from 09:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday to Thursday, and from 09:00 to 16:00 on Friday. Exhibitors may enter the grounds from 07:30.

According to the organiser, it was the best-attended automatica to date. The fair ran in parallel with LASER World of PHOTONICS.
